It’s only fitting that we share Alli and Nate’s wedding on their six-month anniversary. We met the pair through a mutual friend, and knew right away they’d be an absolute dream to work with. Their laid back and easy-going personalities made for a seamless planning process, and we are honestly sad that the wedding is over! With the stunning backdrop of Ole Hanson Beach Club, Allie and Nate’s vision of white florals and copper accents came to life. It was all-hands-on-deck as the bridal party helped craft décor items for their celebration, including hanging geometric planters and centerpieces. The touching ceremony was officiated by Allie’s sister, and the couple snuck away later in the evening to get some amazing sunset photos on the beach. Congratulations to our Chiave Events couple, Alli & Nate--and happy 6 months! coordinating // Chiave Events

What do you do when you graduate with a degree in fashion merchandising? You celebrate! That's exactly what we did for Ronna, who graduated from O'More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee. As a student, Ronna developed a brand and image called Ronna Joon, which completely captures her personality. Her logo of an eye with colorful eyelashes was the inspiration behind her party, and you can see touches of it everywhere. We had a blast designing this colorful event, and I wanted to give a personal shout out to Ronna's family for pitching in and helping setup all the details! planning // @chiaveevents

Noonoosh and Jack have lived in many places including Southern California, Boston, and Washington D.C., but met in North Carolina, so it was only fitting that they had their wedding there. The bride and groom are from different cultures, and are both first generation Americans, so they really wanted to play on both of their backgrounds for the wedding. Jack's family was born in Ireland and are part of a Catholic Church in Wake Forest, NC, which is where the ceremony took place. At the reception, a second ceremony was held, but this time in the traditional Persian way featuring a beautiful sofreh aghd that the bride designed herself. The evening featured a mix of Irish and Persian songs, (as well as those 90's classics!), that kept everyone on the dance floor. Church | St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church

The goal was to create a spooky atmosphere, but still keep things classy and modern. I spent a few weeks before the party drying flowers and collecting decorations (but let's be real, I've been collecting Halloween decorations for years). I wanted each room of the house to have something subtle in it that went along with the whole theme. The mantle featured a giant clock offering no time, dozens of candles, and bats flying out of the fireplace. A nearby table featured witches' spell books and an apothecary display showcasing all the different potions. The bar was the focal point of the outdoor space with the custom balloon display and of course, more skulls. I pre-made shots and poured them into test tubes for a quick drink, or guests were encouraged to pick their own poison... Photography | AR Vision
Up Lighting | Vivid Lites Decor Sourcing | Michael's // DIY Balloon Display | Neusha Raffijandi // Chiave Events I had so much fun creating this Great Gatsby themed wedding shower! The bride and groom live on the east coast, but the bride's family lives in Southern California, which was the location of the event. I was tasked with selecting a theme and wanted to make sure it played on both the bride's and groom's personalities, as the groom and male guests attended the shower as well. The bride is very into classy vintage, and had a huge childhood crush on Leonardo DiCaprio, so the Great Gatsby theme kind of jumped out at me. I added subtle theme touches here and there (can you spot the cameo from Mr. Jay Gatsby?), and a big statement piece. The family is huge and very big on photos, so a photo backdrop was necessary! The biggest surprise was that I booked the photographer for an extra hour before the party to do a mini engagement-style photo shoot with the bride and groom before the event, since they never got to take any back home.
